School Meals
We believe that if children eat healthily, they will be happier and able to concentrate on their learning.
All children will be encouraged to eat a varied diet and we will provide a variety of healthy hot and cold meal choices. We will cater for food allergies and intolerances and vegetarian options will also be available.
Where eligible, children will be provided with a free school meal and in addition to this, fresh fruit, vegetables and milk will be made available in line with government healthy eating initiatives.
Halal Meat:
Following recent concerns in the media surrounding the ability to authenticate supplies of Halal meat, our policy is NOT to offer Halal meat.
Children will have the choice of the vegetarian option on the daily menu or a packed lunch.
