NJC Level 2A Points 3 - 4 (£15,797 – £16,397 per annum)

Full time, 37 hours per week, Term Time Only + 5 CPD days (Job sharing would be considered for 2 Part Time roles of 3/2 days or split of 2.5 days)

Great Ouse Primary Academy, Bedford opened as a brand new school in September 2017, originally with a Pre-School, YR, Y1 and Y2 classes. In September 2018, two new YR classes joined us. The school will eventually grow to 420 pupils and be two-form entry.

SAF has an outstanding reputation and provides a strong support network and a variety of opportunities for staff in each of its academies.

We are looking to recruit professionals who share and embrace the school’s core vision of having high expectations for all children; teaching an exciting and challenging curriculum; making every moment count and enabling children to flourish within and beyond the school walls.

The Pre-School issituated within the grounds of Great Ouse Primary Academy and provides day care to pre-school children aged 3 years to school age.

The successful applicant will play a key role in planning, organising and carrying out a suitable programme of activities for the children to ensure they develop both speaking, listening and social skills in a safe and secure environment. Good communication skills together with a deep knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum are required and applicants should hold a minimum of NVQ level 2 childcare qualification and ideally a first aid qualification or be willing to undertake training. You will be expected to work closely with the Pre-School Manager and EYFS Leader.

Key Stage 2 Teacher (Y4)

Required for September 2019

MPS/UPS Full Time

We are looking to appoint a full time and permanent Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join our passionate, motivated, supportive and dedicated teaching team. The position will be in Y4. The ideal candidate will be committed to ensuring that all children reach their full potential in learning and able to interpret the National Curriculum using their initiative in an innovative and motivating way, further inspiring our children who are very keen to learn!

Positivity and a sense of humour are essential alongside expert knowledge of the Primary curriculum, resilience, creativity, commitment and professionalism.

We would like you to be able to foster a nurturing learning environment where there are high expectations for all children and to be committed to your own professional development and continuing to grow within your role.
