Great Ouse Primary Academy, Bedford opened as a brand new school in September 2017 and is a proud member of Sharnbrook Academy Federation (SAF). Initially, the school opened with a Pre-School, YR, Y1 and Y2 classes. The school will eventually grow to 420 pupils and be two form entry.

We are looking to recruit professionals who share and embrace the school’s core vision of having high expectations for all children; teaching an exciting and challenging curriculum; making every moment count and enabling children to flourish within and beyond the school walls.

Reception Teacher

We are also looking to appoint a full time and permanent YR Class Teacher to join our passionate, motivated, supportive and dedicated teaching team. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding classroom practitioner who has a deep knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum to join our new and inspiring school. You must be able to demonstrate commitment and passion for Early Years Education through raising standards and introducing new initiatives including planning and delivering outstanding learning opportunities for our children. The successful candidate will teach a Reception class and closely liaise with the EYFS Leader and Pre-School.
