Great Ouse Primary Academy is situated in Bedford and we work closely with all of our local families. We continually strive to provide the best education for our pupils so they become resilient and independent with the key skills needed to become successful citizens of the 21st Century.

In addition, Great Ouse Primary Academy is part of the very successful Sharnbrook Academy Federation (SAF). This is a multi-academy trust made up of five excellent member academies, which has a commitment to excellence in education and puts student progress at heart of all it does. SAF has an outstanding reputation and provides a strong support network and a variety of opportunities for staff in each of its academies.

These are exciting opportunities for two outstanding classroom practitioners to most likely teach in Y3 and Y5 who have excellent knowledge and understanding of the curriculum. You must be able to demonstrate commitment and passion for education through raising standards and introducing new initiatives including planning and delivering the outstanding learning opportunities for our children. The successful candidates will closely liaise with all staff, parents and outside agencies to ensure best outcomes for all children.

Positivity and a sense of humour are essential alongside expert knowledge of the Primary curriculum, resilience, creativity, commitment and professionalism. We would like you to be able to foster a nurturing learning environment where there are high expectations for all children and to be committed to your own professional development and continuing to grow within your role.

Welcome to Great Ouse Primary Academy

Great Ouse Primary Academy opened as a brand new primary academy in September 2017 and is a proud member of Sharnbrook Academy Federation (SAF). The school is a named feeder school for Lincroft Academy and Sharnbrook Academy. The school is a bright, modern and inspiring learning environment with up-to-date technology and vibrant teaching and learning spaces for our pupils and staff.
